ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo maintained his lead in the Tangere senatorial survey conducted from July 10 to 13, securing the highest voter preference among potential candidates for the May 2025 elections.

In the survey, Tulfo maintained a commanding lead with 56.25 percent of the voter preference.

Former president Rodrigo Duterte continued to be a strong contender, with a voter preference of 46.33 percent, securing the 2nd spot.

In the 3rd and 4th positions were former Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III (44.54 percent) and Senator Pia Cayetano (43.13 percent), respectively.

Senator Bong Go saw a significant decline in his voter preference, from 47.08 percent to 42.5 percent, dropping from 3rd to 5th place.

Broadcaster Ben Tulfo, brother of Rep. Tulfo, remained steady at 6th place with a 40.63 percent voter preference.

Rounding out the Top 12 were Senator Imee Marcos (7th place, 39.67 percent voter preference), Senator Lito Lapid (8th, 36.79 percent), former Senator Manny Pacquiao (9th, 35.71 percent), former Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso (10th, 35 percent), former Senator Ping Lacson (11th, 33.67 percent), and Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. (12th, 31.88 percent).

Meanwhile, falling out of the Top 12 were incumbent Senator Francis Tolentino (13th place, 31.67 percent) and social media personality Dr. Willie Ong (14th, 31.25 percent).

Tangere also observed significant shifts in the results following reports of former president Duterte and his sons, Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte and Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo Duterte, running for the senatorial elections next year.

Former president Duterte, while still in 2nd place, saw his voter preference drop from 50.88 percent in June to 46.33 percent in July.

Rep. Duterte also experienced a decline in his voter preference, from 25 percent to 22.92 percent, dropping from 24th to 26th place

Meanwhile, Mayor Duterte made his survey debut with a voter preference of 23.67 percent, securing him the 25th spot.

The survey, administered via a mobile-based application to 2,400 participants, utilized a stratified random sampling method across the Philippines.

The results have a margin of error of +/-1.96 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
