Marcos declares August 14 as special non-working holiday in Mawab, Davao de Oro

President Marcos has declared August 14 this year as a special non-working holiday in Mawab, Davao de Oro.

Marcos made the declaration in light of the town’s founding anniversary celebration.

“It is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Mawab be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration,” the President said.

He made the declaration through Proclamation No. 628.

The proclamation was signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin by the authority of the President on July 11, 2024.
