Man arrested while renewing driver's license in Pateros

A man who was renewing his driver’s license at the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Pateros Extension Office was arrested by the police for cases of rape and acts of lasciviousness.

According to the Pateros Police, the suspect was alias Randel, 36, who was nabbed at the LTO office on M. Almeda Street in Barangay San Roque in Pateros at about 10 a.m.

He was nabbed by personnel from the Pateros Police Substation 2 based on a warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Joy Casihan-Dumlao of the Pasig Regional Trial Court Branch 262 on July 19, 2023.

Randel is tagged by the Pateros Police as the top 1 most wanted person for the second quarter of 2024.

The warrant stemmed from his cases of rape and acts of lasciviousness. The judge recommended no bail for the rape case and imposed a bail of P180,000 for the acts of lasciviousness case.

The suspect is detained at the Pateros Police custodial facility pending the issuance of a commitment order from the Pasig court.
