K-pop girl group Fromis 9 to return with new single 'Supersonic'

K-pop girl group Fromis 9 will be making their comeback to the music scene with the release of a single in August.

Fromis 9, the HYBE and Pledis Entertainment group composed of Lee Sae Rom, Song Ha Young, Park Ji Won, Roh Ji Sun, Lee Seo Yeon, Lee Chae Young, Lee Na Gyung and Baek Ji Heon, will release their third single album “Supersonic’ on Aug. 12 with the aim of claiming the “Summer Queen” title.

On July 18, a moving poster featuring a vivid billboard against a clear blue sky was revealed on Fromis 9's official social media channels.

The poster displayed phrases like “Supersonic,” the band’s logo, the names of the eight members, and the date “24.08.12” with 'Coming Soon' message at the top, officially announcing their return. The phrase “Heat & Juicy” at the bottom of the poster sparks curiosity about the album’s concept.

Last summer, Fromis 9 released their first studio album “”Unlock My World,” presenting refreshing vocals and positive energy.

This year, they connected with fans through the “From Now” concert, appearances at university festivals, and participation in the 2024 Weverse Con Festival and Waterbomb 2024 in Seoul and Fukuoka.

This month, they also held a photo exhibition titled “From Summer” to celebrate the release of their photobook, ramping up excitement for their comeback.

Fromis 9 debuted in 2018.
