ENHYPEN achieves group's highest first week album sales with 'Romance : Untold'

K-pop boy band ENHYPEN’s second studio album “Romance: Untold” set a new record for the group. 

Korea’s Hanteo music chart announced on July 19 that “Romance: Untold” sold a total of 2,344,749 copies in its first week of release from July 12 to 18. 

The total is the highest first week album sales for ENHYPEN since their debut.

The first week sales for “Romance: Untold” surpassed ENHYPEN’s previous record for “Orange Blood” album, which accumulated 1,871,269 copies from Nov. 17 to 23 last year, or an increase of 473,480 copies. 

“Romance: Untold” was released on July 12 and garnered first day sales of 1,883,143 copies, also a new record for ENHYPEN, compared to 1,383,292 copies for “Orange Blood.” 

During ENHYPEN’s media showcase for the new album last July 11, it was announced that “Romance: Untold” garnered pre-orders of over 2.2 million copies.

“Romance: Untold” earlier topped Hanteo Chart’s weekly physical album chart from July 8 to 14 with sales of 1.9 million copies or an equivalent of 2.17 million in physical record index, a combination of total sales and album price used by Hanteo to rank albums.
