PHINMA Property Holdings Corporation, owned by the Del Rosario family, is building a new township called Saludad in Bacolod City to capitalize on the potential of emerging regions.
In a statement, the firm said it is expanding its footprint to reach new customer bases, address unmet housing needs, and contribute to local economic development, which aligns with the government’s initiatives to promote regional growth.
The firm noted that Bacolod City has a surging economy supported by a robust workforce, primarily driven by the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry and the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) sector.
This demographic shift raises the need for more housing and real estate, which is expected to accelerate with the projected influx of investments and enterprises following the establishment of the newly created Negros Island Region (NIR).
Located at the heart of Bacolod City, Saludad is a 21-hectare community that will offer residents a distinctive and enhanced living experience that captures the essence of Bacolod’s unique charm and potential.
A master-planned township, Saludad will have neighborhoods offering a variety of amenities such as expansive open spaces, fitness areas, and communal zones will be built for families to connect and thrive.
It will also feature a bustling retail town center and venues for cultural, entertainment, and sporting events that aim to enrich lifestyles and provide more economic opportunities in the city.
“In planning Saludad, we emphasized Bacolod's authentic culture and its residents' love for open spaces and greenery. The township will feature Modern-Filipino architecture, crafted by the esteemed architectural firm Royal Pineda, blending the city's rich heritage with contemporary design,” said PHINMA Properties Vice President for Township Paolo V. Reyes.
The company partnered with JEPP Real Estate Co. Inc. for this flagship project, anchored on the shared vision of creating a development that deeply resonates with the spirit of the city and its people.
“JEPP Corporation’s profound understanding of Bacolod’s local landscape and commitment to the city’s welfare aligns perfectly with our mission to enrich the communities we serve,” said PHINMA Properties President and CEO Raphael B. Felix.
He added that “together, we aspire to build a community that fosters economic growth and enriches lives while offering a unique and elevated urban living experience.”
