Caloocan LGU turns over body cameras, LED SOS devices to traffic management department

The Caloocan City government on Thursday, July 18, turned over a total of 120 body cameras and 100 emergency slap-wrap LED SOS devices to the Caloocan Public Safety and Traffic Management Department (PSTMD) for their night operations.

LED devices will help enforcers implement traffic rules and lessen road accidents.

We always prioritize the strengthening of public services, which is why we are also aware of the need to pay attention to the safety of our city government workers, especially while performing their sworn duties),” Mayor Dale Along Malapitan said.

The city government is ready to make sure that all the needs of our operatives are met, because in the end, the goal of all this is to fix and speed up the delivery of service to the citizens),” he added.

Meanwhile, the city mayor urged the residents to follow traffic rules always.

To Batang Kankaloo, please help the PSTMD to keep the roads safe by obeying the correct traffic laws and communicating properly with your fellow motorists. I assure you that we are doing everything to make our staff serve well so we also expect your cooperation),” he said.
