BPI Debit Mastercard unavailable for online, in-store purchases this weekend

The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) clarified that its BPI Debit Mastercard will be temporarily unavailable both for online and in-store purchases this weekend due to system maintenance.

According to a July 18, 2024, advisory from BPI, the maintenance is scheduled for Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 12 AM to 12 NN, and Sunday, July 21, 2024, from 12 AM to 12 NN.

In preparation for this maintenance, BPI is advising its customers to plan for their essential shopping needs ahead of time to prevent any inconveniences during the maintenance window. 

As an alternative payment option, BPI recommended using their BPI Credit Cards for both online and in-store transactions.

BPI also said that customers can make use of the BPI mobile app to scan the merchant's QR Ph Code for a smooth and efficient payment process.
