HONOR has been hyping up the 200 series.
At long last, it is here.
And the hype has not been misleading. I’ve been using the HONOR 200 for a couple of days now and I can say this is a smartphone that can sit among our top recommended devices for 2024.
The HONOR 200 has everything that makes a great phone. Great screen, 120Hz refresh rate, excellent cameras, a good chip for power, 5200mAh battery, and an attractive design.
HONOR has been campaigning the 200 series as the AI Portrait Master. Portrait photography, basically, is about the subject and how it evokes emotions with the image of the person. The HONOR 200 is designed to make portrait photography accessible for most people.
Camera phones are excellent these days. The HONOR 200 is no exception. The rear camera has three cameras, two 50MPs and one 12MP for ultra wide. The images captured by the HONOR 200 are crisp and vibrant, and full of all the sharp details you would expect from a device by HONOR.
The front camera is also up in caliber to take impressive selfies. HONOR’s algorithm is smart enough to make all the adjustments to present a clear picture without you having to edit it.
And because the HONOR 200 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, this means the smartphone is powerful enough to run almost every app out there. So, not only does it take pictures and edit to its perfection, it’s a great powerhouse to play, probably all, of the most popular mobile games out there.
Besides being a top performer of the year, the HONOR 200 is very pretty to look at. We’ve seen all their colors and each of them are very distinct and brimming with personality. And since the camera bumps are looking like they’re really here to stay for a couple more years, phone makers are doing their best to style it up as part of its overall design. The HONOR’s camera bump resembles an oval shaped stone, polished to shine through eyeballs. It’s very pretty to look at.
