Shoot, not smoke: Pasig LGU holds free basketball clinic for students

The Pasig City local government announced on Wednesday, July 17, that it had successfully conducted a free basketball clinic and seminar in celebration of National No Smoking Month in June.

Students from public elementary and junior high schools in the city actively participated in the program from June 5 to June 28 and showcased their basketball skills.

According to the local government, the program aims not only to hone the basketball skills of Pasig's youth but also to provide them with a hobby that will steer them away from smoking and vaping.

The program also helps them focus on their physical health and maintain their sports activity while on school break.

The implementation of the program was made possible through the leadership of the City Environment and Natural Resources Office.
