QC gov't opens 'AccessABLE' market in celebration of National Disability Rights Week
The Quezon City government opened its "AccessABLE" market in celebration of the start of National Disability Rights Week starting on July 17 to 23.
The market is located at Gate 2 Covered Pathwalk of the Quezon City Hall and will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until July 19.

Products featured in the fair are made by Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) including food, drinks, and handcrafted items.
Vice Mayor Gian Sotto led the ribbon cutting for the opening of the Market.
The implementation of these activities was made possible with the help of Kabahagi Center, IBBY Book Publisher, Boundless Philippines, Quezon City Public Library, Gentle Giants, Philippine Association for Citizens with Developmental and Learning Disabilities, Small Business and Cooperatives Development Promotions Office, and Office of the City Mayor.
Meanwhile, the City’s Persons with Disability Affairs Office will also conduct different activities in line with the celebration such as a book fair and art gallery, trainings, and seminars for the PWDs in the city.
