The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Tuesday, July 16, said the P9.6-million Mega Lotto 6/45 winning ticket in the July 15 draw was bought at the Makati Cinema Square lotto outlet in Makati City.
Only one player correctly guessed the winning numbers, 38-05-14-15-22-37, in the Monday draw.
Because the jackpot prize exceeded P10,000, PSCO said it would be subject to a 20 percent tax deduction under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law.
If the jackpot prize remains unclaimed one year after the draw date, it will be forfeited and will go to the PCSO Charity Fund, as stated under Republic Act 1169 or the PCSO Charter.
The Mega Lotto draw is held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
