Marcos finalizing his SONA speech—Palace

President Marcos is on top of finalizing his speech for his third State of the Nation Address (SONA), Malacañang said on Wednesday, July 17.

According to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), the President is on top of finalizing his SONA speech less than a week before his third public address.

The PCO added Marcos also has no engagement on Wednesday as he was preparing for the SONA.

PCO Secretary Cheloy Garafil earlier disclosed that Marcos' SONA will be directed by the Radio Television Malacañang (RTVM). Garafil also said that there were no particular names when asked if there was a specific director for the President's address.

A week ago, Marcos said his third SONA will focus on updates on the administration’s efforts to uplift the lives of Filipinos, improve the economy, address criminality and other social problems in the country.

He said he will be reporting on the progress on the projects in various sectors in the country.

Marcos will be delivering his third Sona on July 22 at Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City.
