The Flying Titans clash with the Cignal HD Spikers in the 6 p.m. nightcap after Petro Gazz and rebranded ZUS Coffee open the triple-header at 2 p.m.
Capital1 and Akari also gun for strong starts at 4 p.m. to join Nxled, Chery Tiggo and PLDT in the early winning column.
Since the last Reinforced Conference in 2022 where it placed seventh, Choco Mucho has come a long way by snagging back-to-back runner-up finishes in the last two All-Filipino Conference.
This time, the Flying Titans will be parading Greek import Zoi Faki to fuel their squad and join forces with Maddie Madayag, Kat Tolentino and Royse Tubino.
Choco Mucho coach Dante Alinsunurin also expects more contribution from his second stringers with the absence of top scorer Sisi Rondina and Chery Nunag due to national team duties.
Cignal will also miss veteran libero Dawn Catindig and Vanie Gandler to national team duties, but will have new acquisition Judith Abil, Ces Molina and Riri Meneses in its arsenal.
In the other matchup, Capital1 coach Roger Gorayeb pins his hopes on Shola Alvarez, Iris Tolenada and No. 2 Rookie Draft pick Leila Cruz to conspire with import Marina Tushova to go up against Akari’s strong frontline in Ced Domingo, Michelle Cobb, Gretchel Soltones and import Oluoma Okaro.
ZUS Coffee, meanwhile, will have to wait before No. 1 Rookie Draft pick Thea Gagate is released from national team duties. For now, coach Jerry Yee has import Asaka Tamaru, Dolly Versoza, Cloanne Mondoñedo and Gayle Pascual.
They will go up against a veteran Petro Gazz squad boasting of import Wilma Salas, MJ Phillips, Brooke Van Sickle and Aiza Pontillas.
