2GO Travel tickets now cover Manila port terminal fee

Passengers on 2GO Travel routes from Manila North Passenger Port no longer need to pay separate terminal fees as they are now included in the ticket purchase.

In a statement, 2GO Group Inc. announced that all passengers departing from Manila who purchase tickets beginning Wednesday, July 17, will have their terminal fees integrated.

The company said this change is part of 2GO Travel and Manila North Harbour Port Inc.’s commitment to enhance convenience and the overall experience for Manila outbound passengers.

2GO added that the integration will simplify the boarding process and reduce time spent at the port, making sea travel more efficient.

“We are committed to making sea travel as smooth and enjoyable as possible for our passengers. By including terminal fees in our ticket prices, we’re taking a significant step toward simplifying the boarding process and ensuring a hassle-free and efficient journey for everyone,” said Sharon Ngo, Business Unit Head of 2GO Sea Solutions.

“This new policy is part of a series of enhancements designed to improve customer satisfaction and set new standards in the maritime travel industry,” she added.

Along with the announcement, 2GO said that it is introducing a nationwide P99 SEA SALE, available from July 17 to 20.

This promotion offers travelers the opportunity to book sailings from August to November 2024 at significantly reduced rates. This sale aims to provide affordable travel options across the Philippines during the specified period.
