Parañaque gov’t breaks ground for TESDA Training and Assessment Center

The city government of Parañaque conducted a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Training and Assessment Center last Friday, July 12.

The center will be built beside the Parañaque City College (PCC) in Barangay San Dionisio.

The groundbreaking ceremony was led by Mayor Eric Olivarez. He was joined by Representative Edwin Olivarez, Councilor Pablo “Paolo” Olivarez, PCC Administrator Dr. Alejandro Magnaye, and representatives from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Olivarez said the construction of the TESDA building is one of the priority projects of Cong. Olivarez in cooperation with the city government.

 He said the building will serve as a training and assessment center for residents who want to undergo technical vocational courses that will help improve their skills.

The mayor said the TESDA building will also house the  Parañaque Livelihood Resource Management Office under Marlette Yamsuan who will be supervising the programs in technical vocational courses.
