UAE-based Miguel, Marbel's Ycon-Utay star in World Championships of Performing Arts

The proud daughter of Koronadal City, also garnered two plaques that recognized her brilliance at a very young age competing in the week-long competition which was joined by elite performers from across the globe.

Wunderkinds UAE-based Martinus Miguel and Marbel’s Blyzzy Myrbyll Ycon Utay continued to draw attention after winning multiple honors in the 2024 World Championships of Performing Arts in Long Beach, California recently.

The 12-year-old Miguel, whose family is currently based in U.A.E, collected 4 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals in numerous categories including the Vocal Gospel and Contemporary.

He also obtained the Division Champion for Gospel with self accompaniment award.

Utay, meanwhile, took gold in spoken modeling and silver in solo-dance ballroom categories, outshining her foreign rivals.

“We are all teary-eyed witnessing your [s]uccess [Blyz]! Singing category is not your time yet, but we saw you gave all your best. We are very very proud of you bb,” said Utay’s relative Analiza.
