BAGUIO CITY – The Junior Chamber International-Philippines has opened the nominations for the 65th Top Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) Awards this year with the theme “Leading with Excellence, Serving with Purpose?”
JCI Sen. Alfredo Mondiguing Jr., national chairperson of the 2024 TOYM Awards, said the prestigious award recognizes Filipinos aged between 18 and 40 for their significant contributions to their field or community.

“For 65 years, TOYM Philippines has recognized and honored outstanding young Filipinos whose excellence in their field and heart in serving our communities have contributed greatly to our country,” said Mondiguing, who added that the awarding will be held this November.
Categories open for nominations are Humanitarian Service and Social Work, Arts and Culture, Pure Sciences and Mathematics, Engineering, Agriculture and Other Applied Sciences, Education, Medicine, and Other Health Sciences and Services, Law, Public Service and Civic Work, Business and Economics, Sports, and Journalism and Mass Communications.
Mondiguing said there are five steps in the nomination process that include the local JCI-Philippines organization as the nominator of a nominee.
He said submission of nominations began last June and will end on September 16.
Screening, judging, and selection will be held from September 16 to October 31. Presentation of honorees, gala dinner, and awarding will be in November.
