'Buhay ang sining sa Valenzuela': LGU to hold 'Arts in the City' program

The Valenzuela City local government on Monday, July 15, announced that it will conduct the ‘Arts in the City’ program featuring a series of art workshops from July 18 to July 27.

The art workshops aim to unveil the extraordinary talents, dedication, and passion of the Valenzuelanos through their artistic and vibrant masterpieces.
Participants have undergone weeks of learning, training, and exploration in their chosen fields.
According to the city’s public information office, the Visual Arts Department will hold an art exhibit on July 18 to 27 at the ValACE Mezzanine from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Instrument and Singing Department will conduct a piano class recital from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., while singing kids and ukulele recital will start at 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and singing teens and guitar recital will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Casa De Polo on July 19.
Meanwhile, the Acting Department will conduct five shows from 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and it will be held at ValACE-Training Hall 4B on July 20.
The Dance Department will perform at the Valenzuela CIty People’s Park Amphitheater from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on July 21.
The city government emphasized that tickets will be provided to invited audience of the participants due to venue capacity limitations, but a limited number of walk-in guests will also be accommodated.
The celebration underscores Valenzuela City’s commitment to nurturing and promoting the arts among its residents, showcasing their creativity and cultural richness.
