2 suspected pushers of shabu nabbed in Taguig

Two suspected high value individual (HVI) pushers were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Taguig on July 15.

The operation was conducted by the Southern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit in Barangay New Lower Bicutan together with the District Intelligence Division, District Mobile Force Battalion, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Southern District Office (PDEA-SDO), and the Taguig Police Drug Enforcement Unit and Taguig Police Substation 9. 

The arrested suspects were identified as alias John, 26, and alias Rodolfo, 38, a construction worker. They were nabbed for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). 

During the operation, authorities seized 105 grams of suspected shabu valued at P714,000. 

The illegal drugs will be turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.
