Tattoo artist dies in motorcycle crash

CANDELARIA, Quezon – A 21-year-old tattoo artist was killed in a motorcycle crash on the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Mangilag Sur here before dawn on Sunday, July 14.

Police identified the victim as Dan, single, of Barangay Masin Norte, this town.

Investigation said the victim’s motorcycle accidentally bumped the left rear portion of a truck with license plate number GS2150 driven by Jumar, 42, of Malinao, Albay, temporarily parked on the road shoulder at about 2:30 a.m.

Dan sustained head injuries and died on the spot.

Police said the victim’s family and the truck driver are open to an amicable settlement.
