MMSU Nasudi Chorale triumphs in New Zealand

BATAC CITY, Ilocos Norte – The Nasudi Chorale of the Mariano Marcos State University here emerged triumphant in the 13th World Choir Games in Auckland, New Zealand recently.

The MMSU congratulated the chorale for their achievement.

“We are very proud of you!” MMSU President Shirley C. Agrupis said.

According to the MMSU, the chorale under the baton of Vince Louisse Salacup triumphed in the Sacred Choral Music a cappella category in the open competition.

The chorale also bagged the Golden Diploma Level I under the Youth Choir Category, it added.

Also emerging winners in the World Choir Games were the Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion Chorale and the Miriam College High School Glee Club.

Salacup cited their perseverance for their victory.
