Drug suspect arrested in Pasay City

Members of the Pasay City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) arrested a drug suspect during the implementation of a search warrant in his house in Pasay City on Friday night.

Pasay City police chief Col. Samuel Pabonita said the suspect, identified as alias Boy, was nabbed at around 10:30 p.m. at Cinco De Junio St., Sun Valley, NAIA, Barangay 195, Zone 20, Pasay City.

Pabonita said the operation was conducted by members of the SDEU in coordination with Pasay Police Substation 8 and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

They were armed with a search warrant issued by Judge Edilwasif T. Baddiri of Pasay City Regional Trial Court, Branch 115 on July 9, 2024.

Confiscated from the suspect were 28.5 grams of shabu worth P193, 800.

The suspect was immediately detained at the police custodial facility and was charged with possession of illegal drugs.
