Another pack of suspected shabu turns up on West Philippine Sea
CAMP FLORENDO, San Fernando, La Union – A pack of suspected shabu was found floating by a fisherman on the West Philippine Sea in Sitio Nagabungan, Barangay Davila, Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, on Thursday afternoon, July 11.

The contraband, which had the marking “Cay Yun Li” similar to those recovered at sea in the Ilocos region during the past few weeks, was turned over to the Pasuquin police.
The Forensic Unit of the Ilocos Norte Police Provincial Office has received and conducting laboratory examination on the item.
Ilocos police chief Police Brig. Gen. Lou F. Evangelista urged the people to report such discoveries to the police.
Meanwhile, a 69-year-old man and two others were arrested in a buy-bust operation in a drug den in Purok 2, Barangay Tipo, Hermosa, Bataan on Thursday night, July 11.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency identified the suspects as Racquel P. Crespo, male, 69; Angelo Corpin, 32, and Ariel Acedera, 25.
Recovered from the suspects who face appropriate charges were five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu worth P102,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.
