A Malaysian translator was arrested for stealing P10,000 cash from his officemate on Tuesday, July 9, in Pasay City.
The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspect as alias Lee, 36, of Almanza Metropolis Condominium in Las Piñas City.
Pasay City police chief Col. Samuel Pabonita said the suspect was arrested at around 4:30 p.m. at the 5th floor of Double Dragon Plaza Mall located at EDSA corner Macapagal Boulevard, Pasay City.
Pabonita said the victim, identified as alias Charito, 42, and a resident of Sapphire St., Soldier Hills 3, Tala Caloocan City, filed a complaint of theft against Lee for taking away her cash money amounting to P10,000 placed inside her drawer.
He said the victim and the suspects were both working at the plaza mall as translators.
