Two men, including a habal-habal driver, were arrested by the police in a buy-bust operation in Taguig on July 10.
The police identified the suspects as alias Melvin, 43, a habal-habal driver, tagged as a high value individual in a drug watchlist; and alias George, 51, listed as a street level individual.

The operation was carried out by the Southern Police District (SPD) Drug Enforcement Unit together with District Intelligence Division, District Special Operations Unit, District Mobile Force Battalion, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Southern District Office, and Taguig Police Substation 2 in Barangay Western Bicutan.
During the operation, the authorities confiscated three plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 53 grams with an estimated street value of P360,400, buy-bust money consisting of one P1,000 bill, and 24 pieces of P1,000 boodle money.
The seized items were turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for examination. A complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) will be filed against the suspects before the Taguig City Prosecutor's Office.
