BUTUAN CITY – Nineteen Police Regional Office-13 personnel were feted for their exemplary performance in a ceremony at the PRO-13 headquarters in this camp on Monday, July 8.

PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Alan M. Nazarro awarded the Medalya ng Kagalingan or Medal of Merit to Police Major Ferdinand P. Tavares, Lt. Rosalito H. Cagoco, Executive Master Sergeants Jonathan T. Timbang and Jay C. Gilbuena, Master Sgt. Lowell F. Salino, Staff Sergeants Daryl T. Pecasale and Jojie U. Busante, Corporals James D. Bagas and Kenny Keith T. Madronero, and Patrolman Jonard Ecot for the arrest of Rol, a high-value individual in the illegal drugs trade and the confiscation of 2.87 grams of suspected shabu valued at P19,545.92 in Buenavista town, Agusan del Norte on June 3.
The Medal of Merit was also given to Major Magdalino G. Pimentel Jr., Lt. Bernard de los Santos Recamara, Master Sgt. Juvy S. Pedraverde, Staff Sergeants Rhidene O. Sano, Arwin E. Duran,
Roy C. Asis, and Joebert B. Gamay, and Patrolman Karl David V. Villeta for the successful arrest of an HVI, alias Mario, and the confiscation of 29.24 grams of suspected shabu worth P198,850.22 in Bislig City, Surigao del Sur on June 29.
Non-Uniformed Personnel Ferdinand Morano was awarded the Medalya ng Papuri for his nine years and six months as crime registrar of the Magallanes Municipal Police Station in Agusan del Norte.
