The city government of Pasay is offering free chest x-ray for all its residents aged 15 years-old and above as part of its efforts in curbing tuberculosis (TB) cases in the city.
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the free x-ray service will be conducted on July 11 at the Villamor Airbase Barangay Hall, July 18 at the Dona Nena Health Center Compound, and on July 25 at Barangay 54 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The mayor called upon her constituents to avail the free service especially those suffering from cough for more than two weeks, fever, chest and back pains, sudden weight loss, those who are in contact with persons with tuberculosis, diabetic patients, and senior citizens.
Those interested in availing of the free chest x-ray service may coordinate with the nearest health center to them, or call 8551- 2026. They are also urged to follow the Facebook page of the Pasay Health Education and Promotion for other questions and information.
