Jed Madela on rift with former manager: We're trying to deal with it privately
By Neil Ramos
Jed Madela is not eager to engage his former manager and aunt Annie Mercado in a word war.
This, even as Annie already fired the first shot, coming out via social media to accuse him of being “ungrateful,” among others.
Note that Annie also expressed displeasure relating Jed’s new single “Wish U The Worst” believing it to be an attack directed towards her.
Jed shrugged it all off in a recent interview.

“It’s a family matter, and we’re trying to deal with it privately,” he said.
As to ‘Wish U The Worst’ supposedly being about his aunt, he said, “It was written by a different person.”
He added that he will always remain grateful to Annie for helping him start his showbiz career.
“I am grateful… they started my career, Tita Annie brought me to Manila. She helped me get into showbiz. We were a team (but) we all have to grow,” he said.
“We have different priorities now. Sila, they are focused on World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA), ako I’m focused on a new chapter in my life doing something different naman,” he added.
Annie is yet to comment.
