'Di lumaki sa farm': Records show Alice Guo went to QC school, not teacher Rubilyn - Gatchalian

Teacher Rubilyn's authenticity is now in question, as there are also no farms within Grace Christian High School, the institution where Alice Guo or Guo Hua Ping attended for three years based on records shown by Senator Sherwin Gatchalian.

"Apparently si Guo Hua Ping or si Alice Guo hindi lumaki sa farm. Hindi rin siya homeschooled. Nag-aral ho siya (Apparently Guo Hua Ping or Alice Guo didn't grew up in a farm. She also wasn't homeschooled. She attended school)," Gatchalian disclosed during the hearing Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality on Wednesday, July 10.

"Nag-aral siya sa parehas kong school sa Grace Christian High School, for grades 1 , 2, and 3. Year 2000 to 2003. Hindi siya home-schooled ni Rubilyn (She studied in the same school as me, Grace Christian High School for grades 1, 2, and 3. Year 2000 to 2003. She's not home-schooled by Rubilyn)," Gatchalian said.

It was during the first hearing that Guo was pressed about her education records. There, Guo claimed she was homeschooled from elementary until high school. She said she didn’t go to college.

Yet, she also failed to provide the name of her homeschool provider and could only remember the name of her teacher as “Teacher Rubilyn.” She also claimed she has been living on their farm.

But Gatchalian was able to acquire the school records after finding out the suspended Bamban mayor's real identity.

It was the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) who was able to confirm that Guo’s fingerprints matched with a Chinese woman named Guo Hua Ping.

It was Gatchalian who first raised the probability of Alice Guo and Guo Hua Ping to be one person, saying that Guo Hua Ping entered the Philippines when she was 13 years old.

Gatchalian said the matching fingerprints, the documents on the Special Investor Residence Visa (SIRV) granted to Lin Wen Yi, as her mother, and records from the Bureau of Immigration (BI) showing their travels together provide irrefutable evidence of her deception and duplicity for vile and nefarious purposes.
