Tourism Malaysia announced the launch of the Malaysia Mega Sale 2024 at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on June 7, 2024. The sale will kick off on June 15 and run until July 31, 2024, followed by a Year-End Sale from November 15 to December 31, 2024.

The program is designed to attract both domestic and international tourists and aims to boost Malaysia’s economy. The event involves leading retailers and shopping malls across the country, offering discounts of up to 85%.

“Today we embark on an exciting journey to revive the Mega Sale campaign, running from June 15 to July 31, 2024. This initiative, once a hallmark of our vibrant retail landscape, is poised to bring back a new wave of enthusiasm and economic uplift for tourism,” shared YB Khairul Firdaus Akbar Khan, deputy minister of tourism, arts, and culture of Malaysia, at the launch event.

Popular shopping destinations during the sale include Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Suria KLCC, Mid Valley Megamall, The Exchange TRX, Lalaport, Mitsui Outlet Park, Sunway Putra Mall, Central Market, Berjaya Times Square, Sungei Wang Plaza, and Genting Premium Outlet.
