ILOILO CITY – Suspected shabu valued at P6.4 million was seized in Western Visayas from June 1 to 7.
The Police Regional Office-6 said approximately 946 grams of shabu were confiscated from 55 suspected drug pushers in 39 anti-drug operations during the period.

“May the arrest of these 55 persons serve as a lesson to the remaining illegal traffickers to stop immediately. If you continue, you are the next subject of our law enforcement operations,” said Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky, PRO-6 director.
The PRO-6 Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit seized P2.4 million worth of shabu.
The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) arrested 19 drug suspects, followed by the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) with 14 drug, Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO), nine; RPDEU-6, six; Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), three, and one each by Antique Police Provincial Office (APPO) and Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO).
