Man arrested for raping 12-year-old daughter

SAN ISIDRO, Isabela – Police arrested a 33-year-old man here on June 6 for allegedly raping his daughter in 2022 and 2023.

The suspect, alias "John," the seventh most wanted person in Region 2 or Cagayan Valley, was arrested through a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 21 in Santiago City, Isabela, dated May 27, 2024.

Police said that the 12-year-old victim was allegedly raped in August and October 2022 and July 2023.  

The 12-year-old victim was left under the care of the suspect as her mother was working overseas, police added.

The suspect was detained at the San Isidro Police Station prior to turnover to the issuing court.
