Laborer shot dead in Lipa City

LIPA CITY, Batangas â€“ A 57-year-old construction worker was shot dead in Purok 4, Barangay Tipacan, this city, on Saturday evening, June 8.

Police identified the victim as Manolito de Guzman.

Investigation said De Guzman was sitting on a chair in his house when an unidentified man appeared and shot him in the head and right arm.

De Guzman died on the spot and the suspect fled.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
