Marcos assures Bicolanos of more gov't services, infra projects

President Marcos said Bicolanos can expect the government’s unhampered services and infrastructure projects that will uplift their lives.

Marcos said this as he led the distribution of land titles, support services, and financial assistance to farmers and fisherfolk in Pili, Camarines Sur on Friday, June 7.
In his speech, the President said Bicolanos can expect good news from the government.
“Lagi kaming may baong magandang balita at pasalubong (We always bring good news for you),” he said.
“Mula sa pagtatapos ng imprastraktura na aming ipinatayo hanggang sa mga programang aming pasisinayaan upang maging mas masagana ang pamumuhay dito sa Region V (From the completion of infrastructure projects and the services we will launch to improve your lives here in the Bicol Region),” he added.
In particular, Marcos identified the following infrastructure projects expected to provide a better transportation system and include the region’s economy:
- Camarines Sur Expressway
- Pasacao-Balatan Tourism Coastal Road
- New Naga Airport Development Project
The President also cited the launch of the Kadiwa ng Pangulo at Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Housing Project in Camarines Sur last year.
President Marcos said the administration has already completed eight farm-to-market roads, totaling 8.32 kilometers and costing P193 million. Nine other farm-to-market road projects are in the pipeline, totaling 31 kilometers and costing P675 million.
