2 men nabbed for shabu in Taguig

Police operatives arrested two men in a buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Pinagsama, Taguig on June 6.

The Taguig Police’s Drug Enforcement Unit arrested the two suspects identified as alias Jose, 47, and Jonathan, 32, for alleged violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

The operation, conducted at about 1:30 a.m., also resulted in the confiscation of 10 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 26.76 grams with a value of P181,968, and a genuine P200 bill used as buy-bust money.

The two arrested suspects are under the custody of the Taguig Police. The police are preparing to file a complaint against them.
