Meanwhile, temperatures reached 42°C in Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Pasay City, Metro Manila; Dagupan City, Pangasinan; Bacnotan, La Union; Tuguegarao City, Cagayan; Alabat, Quezon; Cuyo, Palawan; Virac (Synop), Catanduanes; Dumangas, Iloilo; and Catarman, Northern Samar.
PAGASA classifies a heat index within the danger level if it ranges from 42°C to 51°C.

This heat index classification indicates the likelihood of heat-related issues such as cramps and exhaustion and an increased risk of heat stroke with continued activity.
