Some of Tanay, Rizal's most scenic spots have become favorite shooting locations of local television series and movies.
The June 3 episode of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” which airs nightly on TV-5 and Kapamilya Channel Online, featured a scene that was shot inside the Palaya Natural Farm that is owned and operated by the Colesio Family at Barangay Cayabu in Tanay.

The Sierra Madre Mountain Range was also shown as the background of the same scene.

The mansion and rest house of Former President Joseph Estrada, the JE Camp, was also featured in the TV series.
Another TV show also featured the shallow rivers in Tanay, including Daranak and Batlag Falls
According to Tanay Mayor Rafael “Lito” Tanjuatco, there are other areas in the town which have become favorite shooting locations of movie and television shows such as Tinucan, San Andres, Calinawan, Fresno, Mt. Kulis, Sto. Niño, and Epic Parc among others.
Municipal Administrator Jeff Pino told Manila Bulletin that these spots offer natural attractions such as caves, rivers, and mountains that are complemented by the cold breeze especially during the rainy season.
Other TV shows such as Dyesebel, Lobo, and Encantadia were also filmed in the town's nature spots such as Calinawan Cave and Daranak Falls.
