SARIAYA, Quezon – The suspected leader of a drug syndicate was arrested in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday, June 4, in Barangay Santo Cristo here.

Police identified the suspect as Jaen, 32, head of the Jaen Drug Group operating in this town.
Seized from the suspect was 20 grams of suspected shabu worth P402,000.
Meanwhile, another suspected drug pusher was arrested in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday night in Barangay Parian in Calamba City, Laguna.
Police Regional Office 4-A Director Police Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas identified the suspect as alias "Teng," 48, of Barangay Alabang, Muntinlupa City, and considered a high-value individual.
Teng yielded 55 grams of suspected shabu worth P379,500, buy-bust money, and drug paraphernalia.
Lucas said this arrest demonstrates that the PRO 4-A is serious in the campaign against illegal drugs. "Let this operation serve as a stark reminder that our relentless pursuit of justice and the eradication of illegal drugs in our communities will not waver."
Suspects are in the custody of arresting units and face drug-related charges.
