Las Piñas manpower training center distributes tools, equipment to graduates

The Las Piñas City Manpower Training Center (LPCMTC) celebrated the achievements of its graduates by providing them with the essential tools and equipment.

The turnover, held at the LPCMTC quadrangle, was attended by Vice-Mayor April Aguilar who praised the graduates for their hard work and determination to uplift their living condition.

Aguilar said the graduates took Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Hairdressing, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Automotive Servicing, Massage Therapy, Bread and Pastry Production, Refrigerator and Aircon Servicing (DomRAC), and Food and Beverage Services.

She told the graduates the importance of the tools and equipment awarded to help them start their own businesses and contribute to the local economy. 

She said the tools and equipment are part of the Pangkabuhayan Program which aims to provide graduates with the resources they need to succeed in their chosen fields.

Aguilar also expressed her gratitude to the LPCMTC staff for their dedication to training and mentoring the students which underscores the city's commitment to supporting vocational education and livelihood programs to uplift the lives of its residents.
