CEBU CITY – At least six kilos of suspected shabu were seized from a habal-habal (motorcyle-for-hire) driver in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Labangon here on Monday night, June 3.
Police valued the packs of shabu seized by operatives of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit from Joey Iñego, 36, at P40.8 million.

The suspect is a regional high-value individual who belongs to the Top 10 priority list, police added.
Police said that the suspect is believed to be a big-time drug pusher who was tasked to manage the distribution of illegal drugs of an inmate at the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City.
The suspect was capable of disposing of seven kilos of shabu in entire Negros Oriental and Metro Cebu.
In Dumaguete City, a father and son were arrested after a suspected drug den that they were maintaining was raided on Monday afternoon.
Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Negros Oriental Provincial Office and personnel of the 705th MC Regional Mobile Force Battalion-7 arrested Roderick Laro, 54, and his 32-year-old son Patrick in Larena Drive, Barangay Taclobo.
Also arrested was Arturo Cortezano, a 56-year-old street sweeper in Dumaguete.
Five packs of suspected shabu worth P40,800 were seized during the operation.
Leia Alcantara, information officer of PDEA-7, said the father and son were monitored for three weeks after some concerned citizens reported their alleged illegal drug activities.
