Famed choreographer Joy Cancio marks 60th birthday with dance concert for a cause

Celebrated choreographer Joy Cancio marked her 60th birthday with a joyous celebration: a dance concert for a cause entitled "SayAww" at the South Park Center Muntinlupa City last June 15.

Joy advocates teaching less fortunate youth her passion for dance, hoping it will lead them closer to God and help them make full use of their God-given talents. She also wants to use dance to help senior citizens lead a healthy lifestyle.

"SayAww" was staged for the benefit of the Aetas of Zambales, for the environmental advocacy of Father Francis Gustillo, and the Jeremiah Foundation.
