Caloocan LGU to open new College of Engineering Campus next school year

The University of Caloocan City (UCC) will open the new College of Engineering Campus for school year 2024-2025.

The campus is located at  UCC Bagong Silang, Caloocan City - North.

The new college will offer Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, and Computer Engineering programs.

The tuition fee will be free for the students.

"Ang bagong UCC College of Engineering ay patunay lamang po ng tuloy-tuloy na pagtaas ng antas ng edukasyon sa ating lungsod. Binabati ko po ang lahat ng mga Batang Kankaloo at sana ay huwag nating sayangin ang oportunidad na ito (The new UCC College of Engineering is just proof of the continuous increase in the level of education in our city. I congratulate all the Batang Kankaloo and I hope we don't waste this opportunity)," Mayor Along Malapitan said.

"Mga Batang Kankaloo, tandaan niyo na marami kayong posibleng landas na pwedeng tahakin at posibleng trabaho na maaaring kunin. Laging nandito ang pamahalaang lungsod upang siguraduhin na hindi kayo mauubusan ng suporta sa kahit ano pang gusto ninyong marating sa buhay (Young Kankaloos, remember that you have many possible paths to take and possible jobs to take. The city government is always here to make sure that you never run out of support in whatever you want to achieve in life)," he added.

Malapitan also said that there are more upcoming projects to provide better education for the batang Kankaloos.

"Hindi pa po tayo tapos. Marami pa pong susunod na proyekto kagaya na nga lang ng UCC College of Medicine and Health Sciences upang pangalagaan ang iba't-interes ng mga Batang Kankaloo (We're not done yet. There are many more future projects such as the UCC College of Medicine and Health Sciences to take care of the various interests of Batang Kankaloo)," he said.

A special application for admission for prospective Engineering students is scheduled by UCC to commence on July 8 to July 12.
