Man drowns while fishing in Bacoor

CAVITE – A man drowned to death after suffering from a muscle cramp while fishing with his brother in Bacoor City on Sunday, June 2.

The Police Regional Office 4A identified the victim as Ronaldo R. Edaño, 44 years old.

Initial investigation by the Bacoor City Police Station revealed that Edaño was fishing with his older brother at Manila Bay when he reportedly got a cramp, leading to his drowning.

The victim was rushed to the hospital by his brother but was declared dead on arrival.

Edaño’s body will be subject to autopsy examination.
