Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar is urging all young girls in the city to be part of the continuing drive of the City Health Office (CHO) in giving free vaccines against cervical cancer.
Aguilar said the CHO under Dr. Julie Gonzalez will hold the vaccination for young girls nine to 14 years old on July 7 to 9 at Robinsons Las Piñas from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
She reminded parents or guardians to bring their child who will be receiving the first dose of vaccine to their nearest health center for pre-registration and screening.
Aguilar said those who are set to receive the second dose of vaccines must also visit the nearest health center and bring their previous vaccination card for registration and screening.
She said young girls with a schedule of their vaccination must bring to the vaccination site their school ID or any ID with date of birth; birth certificate for out of school youth; barangay certificate if there is no school ID or birth certificate; previous quadrivalent HPV vaccination card with date of first dose and HPV screening form from the health center duly signed by the screener and with the parent’s consent.
