Since the ESPN-Star Sports ended their contracts with several local cable providers, Pinoy F1 fans have been struggling to find a reliable way to watch Formula One races live. Thankfully, beIN Sports has stepped in to make that possible through beIN Sports Connect, beIN’s live streaming, multi-screen app.

Subscribing to beIN Sports Connect allows fans to stay updated throughout the entire Formula One season. Monthly subscription prices start at just P129, giving fans a gateway to the high-octane world of motorsport racing set against iconic circuits.

The app allows users to stream live and on-demand from their phone, tablet, laptop, or TV. Subscribers can watch up to 4 different sporting events or games simultaneously, or even catch any events they may have missed. Best of all, the subscription has no lock-in contract, allowing subscribers to cancel any time.

beIN Sports Connect is a must-have for any motorsports  fan, granting access to series like Formula One, 2 and 3, F1 Academy, FIA WRC, World RX, DTM, Porsche Supercup, Ferrari Challenge and many more.

It also covers non-motor sports events like various football leagues, the ATP Tour, the Rolex China Sea race and much more.

Live viewing party

To give guests a peek of what beIN Sports can offer, the broadcaster held a live viewing of the recent Spanish Grand Prix via a watch party last Sunday, June 23, at Mansion Sports Bar & Lounge. Present was the community of Formula One fans and motorsports enthusiasts in the Philippines. The event was hosted by Marlon Stöckinger who led the evening with an interactive quiz night testing guests on their racing history. The top scorers won premium merchandise from beIN Sports and Formula One. Afterwards, everyone got to enjoy the action of the Spanish Grand Prix live on massive HD screens from every corner of the venue.

The program also included an on-demand replay of the all-female F1 Academy races, featuring Filipina racing phenom, Bianca Bustamante, who also sent in a video message thanking the local fans for continuing to support and cheer her on during every race.

Making the event even more memorable was a special racing simulator provided by SIM2 Premier, the official distributor of SiMagic in the Philippines. SiMagic is the official sim equipment of Formula DRIFT and partner of iRacing. Here, guests were provided with a first-hand virtual experience of getting behind the wheel of a Full Motion Racing Simulator, that’s set up to feel and drive like a Formula One machine, and racing the Barcelona circuit. Those who clocked in the best times also took home exclusive beIN Sports and Formula One prizes.

“This whole experience only solidifies what we already know – Filipinos love motorsports. As the fanbase continues to grow here, we at beIN Sports are proud and excited to be their source for all official Formula One broadcasts and content. We look forward to hosting more of these events to heighten engagement and bring fans closer to the sport more than ever,” said Magdalene Ng, Executive Vice President, Marketing, Consumer & Growth, beIN Asia Pacific.
