As Cavite emerges as a strong investment destination outside Metro Manila, Federal Land NRE Global Inc. (FNG), a partnership between real estate giants Federal Land Inc. and Nomura Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., seizes this opportunity by announcing a collaboration with Fast Retailing Philippines to launch a human-centric UNIQLO Logistics Facility in Riverpark, Cavite.

June 20, 2024, marked an exciting milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony for the UNIQLO Logistics Facility within Riverpark North, a pivotal development for both industry leaders, setting the stage for a new era in logistics excellence and
sustainability.

The event brought together executives and key officials from Cavite and General Trias City local government units, Fast Retailing Philippines, Federal Land NRE Global Inc., and Federal Land Inc., gathering to celebrate this innovative venture. Attendees included Fast Retailing Philippines Chief Financial Officer Ryo Watanabe; Fast Retailing Philippines Group Senior Vice President Hidetsugu Asada; UNIQLO Philippines Chief Operating Officer Geraldine Sia; Cavite Congressman Antonio “Ony” Ferrer; Federal Land NRE Global President Thomas Mirasol; General Trias City Mayor Luis “Jon-Jon” Ferrer IV; Federal Land NRE Global Vice Chairman Yusuke Hirano; General Trias City Vice Mayor Jonas Labuguen; Federal Land Technical Execution Group Head Alvin U. Ty, Nomura Real Estate General Manager of the Overseas Business Division Masao Toba; and Federal Land Project Development Head Stephen Comia.

The groundbreaking ceremony underscores FNG’s unwavering commitment to fostering investment and innovation in the Philippines. The UNIQLO Logistics Facility aspires to revolutionize logistics operations by prioritizing worker wellbeing and environmental sustainability. By incorporating advanced technology and sustainable practices, it aims to establish a new industry benchmark in the region.

Creating opportunities for all
The new UNIQLO Logistics Facility is poised to significantly impact Cavite’s local economy by generating numerous job opportunities. This development promises to boost employment and enhance economic growth throughout the region.
