University of Perpetual Help is opening its doors to aspiring volleyball players as it holds open tryouts as part of its preparations for the NCAA Season 100.

The Lady Altas, who wrapped up their stint at sixth place in Season 99, and the defending champions Junior Altas Girls will stage the tryout on June 28 and 29 at the Altas Gym 2 inside the campus.
Coach Sandy Rieta announced that the tryout is open for fresh senior high graduates and transferees in the women’s side while the junior players should be incoming Grade 7 to 12 students.
"If you know you have talent and skills, try to try out with Team Lady Altas,” Rieta said.
The women’s senior team bade farewell to its four key players in Season 98 with MVP Mary Rhose Dapol, Razel Aldea, Krisha Cordero and Charmaine Ocado fulfilling their collegiate duties.
Four also graduated in the defending champs Altas Girls, including Finals MVP Jemalyn Menor, skipper Francheska Delgado, Genna Cris Jimenez and Aizel Reyes.
Menor is expected to play for the Lady Altas next season.
