Parañaque solon to hold 'Sagradong Kasalang Bayan'

The office of Parañaque City Rep. Edwin Olivarez on Wednesday, June 26, announced that it will be conducting a mass church wedding dubbed as “Sagradong Kasalang Bayan” on August 31.

Olivarez said the event will be held in cooperation with the Cathedral of Parish of St. Andrew (Diocese of Parañaque).

He said couples who were wedded through civil ceremony may also join the mass church wedding to receive the blessing of the Lord and sanctify the union of their marriage.

Couples who wish to join the “Sagradong Kasalang Bayan” were given one month to prepare the necessary requirements for the wedding which includes: Marriage Contract of those civilly married; Baptismal Certificate and Confirmation Certificate with notation “for marriage issued within six months of date of wedding"; and four pieces of passport size photo.

The solon said couples may visit his congressional district office located at the 2^nd floor of the Parañaque City Hall for questions.
