Muntinlupa advocates for responsible fatherhood in 'Katropa' meet
The Muntinlupa City government is advocating for stronger families by educating parents, including dads.
To mark Father’s Day, the Muntinlupa Gender and Development Office (GAD) Office recently held the Kalalakihang Tapat sa Responsibilidad at Obligasyon sa Pamilya (KATROPA) seminars as part of its ongoing education campaign for responsible citizenry and rights awareness.

Mayor Ruffy Biazon commended the effort, which is in support of his administration's initiatives to support the family and the community.
The KATROPA seminar series aims to encourage responsible parenthood and effective decision-making, especially among fathers, who typically act as heads of the family and household.
In addition, the GAD Office will also conduct seminars covering topics such as responsible parenthood, family planning, violence against women and their children, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, and equal rights.
The KATROPA series of seminars is made possible by the GAD Office in cooperation with the City Health Office and Muntinlupa Population Development Office.
